Washington Nationals Information

The Washington Nationals are primed for battle in 2019, and the squad that is clearly the most talented in all of the National League East is currently embarking on a challenging 2019 Nationals Schedule. The Washington DC region is more than ready for a professional sports team to bring a championship home to the Nation’s Capital. The Nationals appear to be that squad, and if everything goes according to plan, they will be playing baseball well into October.

Nationals baseball tickets are among the hottest tickets in the DC area, and for good reason. The front office and coaching staff has worked hard behind the scenes and in plain view to put together a team that has been a legitimate World Series contender for many of the past several seasons. The franchise has been around since the late 1960s, but the Washington Nationals played their first games in the 2005 season.

They struggled a bit in their initial half-dozen years, but the squad has made the playoffs in four of the last six seasons. It is no coincidence that this time span coincides with Bryce Harper coming aboard. The young phenom won Rookie of the Year by an overwhelming margin back in 2012, and he has continued to create an output reflective of a future Hall of Famer in recent years. Harper is an incredibly dedicated and driven individual who puts in serious work to make himself the toughest out possible every time he comes up to the plate.

He is surrounded on the field by talented teammates who make the 2019 Washington Nationals a force to be reckoned with as they make their way through a long and demanding 162-game season. Unshakable veteran Ryan Zimmerman continues to hold down first base, and he is capable of hitting 30 home runs and driving in 100 even though he is well into his impressive career.

Pitching is extremely important for any successful squad, and Washington is very deep in that department. Max Scherzer and Stephen Strasburg continue to anchor one of the most impressive staffs in all of Major League Baseball.

Nationals Park opened to the public at 1500 South Capitol Street SE back in 2008 with a capacity of 41,339. Since then, it has hosted all sorts of fun at least 82 times throughout the course of each spring, summer and fall. Now is your time to peruse a large and affordable inventory of Washington Nationals tickets.
